After my next trip to the Island of Enchantment, there will be more to come on these pages. I'm especially looking forward to returning to Rincón, on the west coast, for diving and surfing. The colonial city of Ponce, on the south coast, should yield some interesting photos of colonial architecture on the hills; it was overcast on my last visit.

Northwest Puerto Rico, around Aguadilla, yielded a few very good pictures in mostly overcast conditions.

Right - El Morro (The Hill) is not the largest Spanish colonial fort in Old San Juan, but it is the most impressive because of its location at the mouth of the harbor.

Left - Old San Juan is a photographically fascinating collection of shadowed, balconied, and sunnily artistic buildings.
